What is Joint Paper Art?

Art can be defined as a gathering of items arranged in such a way as to evoke an emotional response. Some artists use pen and paper, some use paint and canvas. I use only the burnt paper scraps leftover from countless joints, spliffs and doobies, naturally colored by the smoking process.

Each of these scraps of paper has its own unique 'story' to tell. Wheather it's a treasured moment shared between friends, celebrating the victory of a favorite sports team, or even a non-narcotic way to help mitigate pain from a chronic ailment. What I do is give these 'stories' new life as fine art, creating highly detailed designs that challenge preconceved notions of what is considered art.
